We have arrived once again at my favorite season - in Japan and elsewhere: Autumn! Last year we missed the best of the fall color in the trees while we were in New Zealand so I was determined to go out and capture it with my lens before leaving for Tokyo. James and I took an afternoon drive up to Hakkoda mountain to see the trees that turned first because of their higher elevation. It was a stunning drive, to say the least. Enjoy this glimpse into our firey autumn landscape!
