Happy Super Bowl! (Or, UN-happy Super Bowl for us Broncos fans). James had the day off since since base leadership wisely realized everyone would be distracted and frustrated if they had to work during the big game. We went over to a friend's house and consoled ourselves with a delicious brunch feast. In some ways, it's probably good the game was such a boring blow-out. In the beginning, when we thought we still stood a chance and everyone was yelling at the tv, Kaden got startled and upset every time we reacted to a big play. But after the first quarter, he was fine
The majority of his time was spent being passed between doting friends and interacting with Riley (the little girl who was born the day after him up in Seoul). We even got to Skype briefly with Jordan and Jack! Over all, it was an enjoyable holiday. Thankfully we have other things like the Olympics, Oscars, and the start of baseball season to look forward to. Now we just need to get Kaden some Dodgers gear...
