Kaden's first Christmas day was nice and laid back. It began with opening a few stocking stuffers. Then we read the Christmas story from Luke and opened the presents that had arrived. (We are still waiting on boxes from California!) Kaden was very curious about what was in our hands and scratched at the paper a bit. But for the most part, he still had no idea what was going on. Next Christmas is going to be really fun!

We are very blessed to be able to spend the holiday together as a family. What a special memory!
Later that afternoon, we invited the Cienskis and Chapmans (a few of the closest members of our AF family) over to watch Christmas movies and eat dinner. One big motivation was to get Kaden and Jack together for a photo op in their matching "My First Christmas" outfits. Adorable! What special memories!

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and happy holiday season! Kaden is the gift from God that keeps on giving and we can't wait to experience all of the exciting new milestones as he grows up.
