Reunion with the Scotts!

Our first weekend in Montgomery, we drove an hour and a half north to Birmingham to see our close friends Bobby and Melissa who were in the area visiting Bobby's family. Melissa and I have known each other since first grade, and now we're all grown up with growing families of our own! Crazy!

It was a pretty laid back Sunday afternoon. We enjoyed a long lunch at a fantastic restaurant, walked around a Toys-R-Us/Babies-R-Us to keep their 2.5 year old daughter Savannah entertained while we talked about parenthood. Then we ended up at the Cheesecake Factory for dessert before parting ways. Like I said short and sweet (VERY sweet) - but one of many special reunions during our time in the USA!
