It's the most wonderful time of the year - in Japan, anyway. The cherry blossoms are blooming. Winter is over and the roadsides are lined with beautiful flowering trees. I have been looking forward to this for a long time. Unfortunately, because of my condition after the surgery, I haven't been able to go outside much so I feel like I've missed out on the best of the festivities. However, I insisted on taking a short walk down the street to take pictures of the ones in our neighborhood before it was too late. Enjoy!
